Mother’s Day is nearly upon us and, like every year, it causes me to think long and hard about just how much my mother has given and done for me.
I know a lot of people say this, but I was blessed with the Best. Mom. Ever.
I believe that the most important job any mother has is to raise their children with love but also expectations. And my mother raised us with both. She never let my brother or me get away with less than we were capable of, but at the end of the day she loved us no matter what.
More than that, she taught us to chase our dreams - and was there every step of the way when we did! - providing practical advice, constructive criticism and her own unique perspective all smothered in a thick layer of support and approval.
I still talk to my mother several times a week. She has been my rock and my inspiration my entire life. She’s the second person (after my husband) that I talked to about Saucey Socks when I had the idea. She received one of the first pair that we manufactured.
It would be my honor if you choose to give your mom Saucey Socks for Mother’s Day. But I think it would be an even better idea to give her a pair of Saucey Socks, and then share a glass of wine, beer or coffee with her!
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there, and to those who love them!
